A WORD

FROM THE AUTHOR

Supernatural movies have their epic appeal. They do go on and on. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but their saturation in the film industry gnaws at my worldview. I desire to see films where supernatural powers give credit to their true origin. The origin being God. One thing we humans can be accused of is that we quickly forget. We should never forget supernatural events in the Bible, for none can compare.

Another prominent thought, as a retired homeschool mom, I know truth in history is lost. You have to dig for it and even then, you have to dig some more. My desire was to write a character that experiences the power of God through history, Biblical history included.

BUTTON WILLOW is a family book (and screenplay) however, it was written with film and youth in mind, hence the fast pace of it all. It is a visual read; No one sees an epic supernatural movie without the constant switch of past, present and future. So, welcoming this as a family read might be fun project. And there are items within that only baby boomers could explain.

.

I look forward to writing volume two next year. From our family to yours.

Jesus, My Redeemer,

Kim
